Sundowner drive
Grootberg Lodge offers scenic sundowner drives across the Etendeka Plateau for you to marvel at the sunset over the Klip Rivier Valley.
Desert Elephant tracking
This is one of our most popular activities at Grootberg Lodge. A guide assisted by a tracker will take you out into the surrounding conservancy in search of the elusive desert elephants.
Please remember to check departure times of all activities with reception, as these can change based on the time of year. Appropriate clothing such as hats and sunscreen are required throughout the year. Should you be venturing out on a search for elephant or black rhino, please remember that well-worn in hiking boots are a must.
